TRIP INFO: NOVEMBER 7-16, 2008

NAIROBI, KENYA

Trip Leader: Tim Parsley – Tim is a working studio artist and project manager for various local murals. Having spent 13 years as a church minister, he is experienced in many areas of ministry leadership. Currently he is a member of LifeSpring’s preaching team. He is married to Flora and they have three children: Emma (8), Aidan (5), and Finn (3).

Cost: Approximately $2350 + shots (approx. $300-400)

Purpose: Work with Missions of Hope, International and their partnering church in “Kosovo,” a specific slum region of the Mathare Valley in Nairobi. Visit and help children and workers at Missions of Hope schools. Work through their Community Heath Evangelism program (CHE) to bring various forms of aid to the poor and those suffering from HIV/AIDS. Encourage the missionaries and workers of Missions of Hope and CMF.
